As one of the crown jewels of the Dayton Metro Parks, Cox Arboretum is a favorite location for weddings and events. Cox Arboretum has numerous outdoor locations for wedding ceremonies and wedding photos. Guests can tour the grounds and explore all the natural wonder that the park is known for.
The main indoor event space, Fifth Third Conference Center, has an exposed natural white fir ceiling and large stone fireplace creating a ‘lodge’ feel, with a twin fireplace outside on the patio. Lined with windows, the Center overlooks the arboretum and features a dance floor and state-of-the-art audiovisual system. This venue accommodates up to 100 guests banquet style and up to 175 guests theatre style.
Adjacent to the Center, the Huffman Gallery makes for a great indoor ceremony location or as additional space for a cocktail hour. The Huffman Gallery showcases sweeping views of the arboretum and gardens through the glass walls lining the Gallery from end to end. The Gallery can accommodate approximately 100 guests reception style and 150 guests for a wedding ceremony or cocktail hour.
